Clue is the first edition of the murder-mystery game released to the United States in 1949 by Parker Brothers. Clue is a 3-6 player game in which they play as the suspects trying to solve the murder of Mr. John Boddy at his palatial mansion, the Boddy Estate. The object of the game is to discover whodunit, where, and how the murder was committed.

The 6 original suspects were invited by Mr. Boddy to a dinner, where one of his colorful guests murdered him.
